To cater the students with special learning needs (SEN), our school has established an Inclusive Education Group to organize various activities for students, hoping to help them integrate into campus life. Our school's Inclusive Education Team collaborates with educational psychologists and provides school-based speech therapy services to help students gradually adapt to the secondary school learning model and academic adjustments. We also offer individual or group training to some students based on their needs to improve their verbal expression, comprehension, pronunciation, articulation, vocal tone, and fluency. Therapists are patient and professional, actively monitoring each student's progress and engaging in frequent classroom interactions to ensure students are fully engaged in therapy and training. In addition, a social skills training group has been set up to enhance students' social abilities and build peer support on campus. Through systematic training, SEN students can learn how to get along with others in real life and online. During the school's festival, our school organized the "SEN Leadership Training Inclusive Ambassador" volunteer program. Through various experiential activities, the program fostered students' understanding of love, inclusion, and a harmonious campus, promoted acceptance of people with different backgrounds, strengthened students' self-discipline and spirit of mutual love and assistance, and cultivated correct values. Through firsthand sharing from ethnic minorities, students gained a better understanding of the languages, cuisines, religions, and lifestyles of Hong Kong's ethnic minorities. Students in the "Inclusive Volunteer Team" promoted messages of care, acceptance, mutual assistance, and inclusion during community visits. Our school also organizes various growth group activities, such as "Board Game Social Group", "Career Planning Group", "Alcohol Ink Painting Afternoon Craft Class", and "Self-Care Group", to discover the interests of SEN students, enrich their other learning experiences, inspire their potential, enhance their sense of competence, strengthen students' spirit of mutual love and assistance, achieve physical and mental health, and cultivate students' correct values. |
