AI-Assisted Teaching & Learning

Artificial intelligence teaching

The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) is an "accelerator of teaching," capable of enhancing individual thinking and even internalizing it into the brain. For students, it is a "learning companion who can ask questions at any time"—within the framework of teacher guidance, AI can provide instant feedback, extend learning resources, and support students in maintaining motivation and direction in independent exploration, achieving more personalized learning.

Teaching methods

Our school guides students to learn how to engage with AI, how to critically use AI-generated content, and emphasizes the process of mutual verification and collaborative knowledge construction in collaborative learning through morning assemblies, lectures, and classroom integration.

Currently, our school has gradually introduced various AI tools to enable self-directed learning in different subjects, for example:

  • Language-related humanities subjects: Using tools such as Poe, Copilot, and Magic School to assist in writing training, reading comprehension, and creative expression;

  • For math and science subjects: Use tools such as DeepSeek and Perplexity to help students analyze their mistakes, generate personalized practice problems, and promote reflection and improvement;

  • Arts and Creative Subjects: Through tools such as Canva AI, Suno, and Stable Diffusion, students' creativity in art, music, and multimedia expression is stimulated.

Our school is also collaborating with the Chinese University of Hong Kong's "QSIP Improvement Plan" to support various departments in systematically designing and implementing AI-integrated teaching solutions. The school emphasizes not only the use of tools, but also cultivating students' abilities to effectively utilize technology, think critically, and learn collaboratively.
